WHO WE ARE
Signature Laugh Entertainment was born out of the passion for bringing joy to people’s lives. What started as Signature Laugh Productions—a small, struggling business—evolved into the vibrant agency it is today. Founder Ray Money, a comedian who found comedy after a personal setback, turned his love for making people laugh into a mission that could help others.
After years of trying different careers and learning the ins and outs of business, Ray took a leap of faith and pursued his love for comedy. Through trials and triumphs, he discovered that stand-up comedy wasn’t just a passion—it could be a way to create lasting, impactful connections through laughter. It was during a pivotal moment in his life that Ray realized the power of laughter and wanted to share that gift with others.
The spark for Signature Laugh Entertainment grew from a desire to create more than just shows. It was about building a community, providing entertainment that resonated, and ultimately creating a space where people could laugh, relax, and be themselves.
RAY'S STORY
Ray’s journey to creating Signature Laugh Entertainment wasn’t linear. From his early years in telemarketing to working with Black business owners, he was constantly learning, absorbing lessons that would later inform his own entrepreneurial journey. Though he didn’t go the traditional route of college, Ray found mentorship in those who had walked the entrepreneurial path before him.
Comedy, however, was the turning point. It gave him a purpose, and he quickly realized that it wasn’t just a career—it was a way to connect with others and make a real difference. After a chance open mic moment, Ray was hooked on comedy, and from there, his career and business grew into the heart of Signature Laugh Entertainment.
Ray’s motivation has always been simple: make a living doing what you love—and now, he’s sharing that love with others. This isn’t just about performing; it’s about the way laughter has the power to heal, build, and create a sense of belonging.
